Growing French Scarlet Red Marigold: A Fiery Garden Delight
French Scarlet Red Marigold is a vibrant and fiery addition to any garden. To cultivate these brilliant blooms, follow these simple steps:
Select the Right Season:
In most parts of India, sow French Scarlet Red Marigold seeds during the cool and dry season, typically in late autumn or early winter.
Sunlight Requirements:
Marigolds thrive in full sunlight. Ensure they receive at least 6-8 hours of direct sun every day.
Prepare the Soil:
Use well-draining soil with a pH level of around 6.0 to 7.0. Enhance the soil with organic matter for improved fertility.
Sowing Seeds:
Sow the marigold seeds in rows or clusters directly into the garden or in pots. Plant them about 1/4 inch deep.
Transplanting:
If starting from seedlings, transplant them when they have at least two sets of true leaves.
Watering:
Keep the soil consistently moist but avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot.
Fertilization:
Use a balanced, all-purpose fertilizer during transplanting and provide additional feedings every 4-6 weeks.
Deadheading:
Remove faded flowers regularly to encourage new blooms and prolong the flowering season.
Pest and Disease Management:
Marigolds are generally pest-resistant, but keep an eye out for aphids and spider mites. Use neem oil or insecticidal soap as needed.
Enjoy the Vibrant Blooms:
French Scarlet Red Marigolds add a burst of rich color to your garden. They are perfect for borders, beds, and even as cut flowers for arrangements.
By following these guidelines, you can cultivate these fiery marigolds in your Indian garden. Their vibrant red blooms will undoubtedly brighten your outdoor space. Happy gardening! 🌼🔥

Good quality seeds and reasonable price
Good site to buy seeds. Bought seeds for few flowers and also tried growing vegetables from the seeds bought from them. It was a good yield considering we grew everything in our apartment and not in a vast open space.
